SEMTEC delivers comprehensive underwater inspections on all types of submerged structures: ship hulls, quays, sheet piling, jetties, breakwaters, water intakes, civil engineering works, locks, pipelines and offshore infrastructure.
Our divers operate visually and instrumentally (magnetometer, side-scan sonar, multibeam echosounder, HD camera) and via photogrammetry. Inspection reports comply with classification society requirements (Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s Register, DNV).
Hull inspection
Visual checks, ultrasonic thickness gauging, cathodic protection condition, propellers and rudders.
Port-structure inspection
Quays, sheet piling, dolphins, mooring bollards, fenders, ladders and submerged concrete structures.
Magnetometric inspection
Detection of ferromagnetic anomalies: UXO, lost anchors, cables, scrap metal.
Sonar inspection
Side-scan sonar (SSS) and multibeam (MBES) for seabed mapping and target detection.
